Overture
I want to make this introduction as brief as possible. Our concern mentioned
in our motto breaks down into a trilogy:
- Personnel training for better skills and superior motivation,
- Organizational development and support,
- & Executive profiling and recruitment.
Taking a closer look, we see that the Middle East markets moved from a welcoming
stage to a near-saturated filtering stage. At this point, weak contestants started
to fall back on the race: It is the fittest that proceeds. With this in mind,
the continuous improvement at both technical and human fronts is a must. But
how can we go around this costly process?
If asked in the beginning of the eighties, this question would be answered by
"Strategic Planning". Nowadays, the solution must be returned to where
it can excel, at the executive level. Aggressive young professionals, with strategic
long-term visions and hands-on experience have to operate, control, fine-tune,
and evaluate the operation of the enterprises: A dynamic maestro, at the
heart of the orchestra.
With this kept in mind, we conceived the following presentation of our group.

Our Profile…
The "young urban professionals" is a young organization
made possible through the association of old-timers and experts in their fields.
The idea started in 1990 as an informal strategic cooperation amongst the associates.
As the group interacted and worked in togetherness, the need to be incorporated
was made clearer. After having cumulated enough market expertise and Academic
luggage, the associates decided to go into a Ltd. liability structure with a
L.L. 40,000,000 capital.
Established in 1999, the Y.U.P. is a Lebanese owned company providing Training
and Consulting Services in Lebanon and the Middle East region.
Our corporate baggage assures a thorough understanding and know-how of the latest
management schools enabling top-ranked employees of SME/SMI1
to achieve the highest level of workplace efficiency in an ever-increasing competitive
information technology driven environment.
To meet the most demanding of the corporate expectations, Y.U.P. ensures that

Curiosity
Our Name
The "Yuppies"3 fad
started in the states during the eighties with a negative connotation. Young
people from distant areas migrated to big cities, where they worked in almost
anything to get their academic degrees. Upon graduating, their ambition made
them work b/w 18 & 22 hours per day (which we are doing :). On the verge
of the nineties, the "yuppies" were in control of the top positions
in leading US corporations.
It is in tribute to these people that we named our group, proudly shouting "Le
dernier cri".
Our Motto
"your business is our concern". This is truly the essence of our
mission. We are looking for integrated solutions for companies that will help
bring harmony and security to their operation.

Marc Asmar, MBA
Focused experience in Organizational Development and Personnel Training. Trained
over 1500 executives from different backgrounds and companies. ITAA member,
Mr. Asmar teaches transactional analysis.
Mr. Jean F. Megarbane, MA
INSEAD graduate, with a blend of academic and fieldwork experience. Mr. Megarbane
is a big contributor to the 'Negotiation and Communication Techniques' programs.
Mr. Adel Moubarak, MA
Information audit at Fransabank, Mr. Moubarak is the main pillar in supporting
our IT related projects.
Dr. Yussef Zgheib, Ph.D. a.b.d.
Chairperson of the hospitality department at NDU, Dr. Zgheib is the main contributor
to hospitality
and customer-servicing related projects. Dr. Zgheib, besides being an expert
in the hospitality sector, he is well rooted in the banking sector with twelve
years of hands-on experience.
